I am an experienced social worker specialized in health and mental health with over 14 years of experience. I provide individual counselling to children, adolescents, and adults and have extensive training in various modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy.
I have over ten years experience working in hospitals in Toronto with populations in maternal and child health, trauma, and brain injury. My clinical experience has been with individuals who have experienced childhood or acute trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm, identity changes, depression, substance use, and children adjusting to the changes in family systems.
I am a registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers and EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).
I believe in using best practice guidelines while working collaboratively with my clients to create a space that feels supportive and healing. I feel passionate towards helping others to acknowledge their experiences, finding meaning, and heal from trauma.
